Vista Creek Cellars, located in the heart of downtown Paso Robles, is a remarkable new tasting room. We feature all our entire portfolio of wines and offer a unique gift shop as well. We offer local flavors of the Paso Robles Wine Region; olive oils, wine related gifts and apparel.

Vista Creek was established in August 2001 by Charlie and Patti Youngclaus, whose dream of cultivating superior wine grapes inspired them to move from their long-established Madera farm to the heart of the Paso Robles Wine country. Patti selected the gently rolling 98-acre panel and recruited Hillary and Simon Graves, graduate students of the Fresno State University's viticulture and enology programs, to help evaluate 50 acres of the land for vineyard potential. With Pattie's perseverance, the Graves' innovative ideas for vineyard design, and Charlie's farming expertise, Vista Creek Vineyards are Charlie's and Patti's dream realized.

"Our goal is to produce wine grapes of a superior quality and become a vineyard designate for wineries producing quality wines," he says. "We are uniquely positioned and qualified to deliver fruit of a consistent quality year after year because we have laid the foundation to grow a quality product."

Charlie and Patti invite winemakers seeking quality fruit to join them in a mutually beneficial partnership between grower and vintner. They welcome their customers' input about production techniques they would like to see implemented for optimum results.
